Benjamin D. Cornell, Esq.
I became an immigration attorney because I saw how much need there was for immigrant representation. My practice is based out of Tacoma Washington in the great Pacific Northwest, however I have clients all over the country from Eloy, Arizona, to Aurora, Colorado. I received my J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in 2011, and I began my legal career in Nevada, spending four years practicing supreme court appeals, post-conviction writs, and criminal defense.
In 2015, I relocated to the Tacoma area, where I saw a massive need for legal aid at the local Tacoma Detention Center. So often people risk their lives to travel into the United States in hopes that they can be protected, and free to live a safe life. From Asylum seeking immigrants fleeing deadly country conditions to immigrant Bond cases, I dedicate my practice to all things immigration. I want to live in a country that values equality, and protects rights. I am here to fight for you and to do my very best to help you achieve status in the US, or to find safety and freedom in this country.
I am one of the most active lawyers at the Tacoma Detention Center, I know the in's and out's of this system well. I am very familiar with all the judges, and work closely with a tight network of other lawyers who practice immigration in this city. The office I chose is just minutes away from the Northwest Detention Center, I did this so that my clients know how serious I am about their needs, it's very easy for me to see clients, especially new ones who request a consultation immediately. My goal is provide the best possible representation to non-citizens facing the threat of removal from the United States.
If you have an immigration issue that you would like to discuss, or have a loved one in ICE custody at the Northwest Detention Center, please contact our office at (253)292-1168. I will stop at nothing to help you achieve your immigration goals.
